How Do I Become A Member?

Tannery is home to both members who pay market rent, as well as members whom the Region of Peel has approved to receive rent-geared-to-income subsidy assistance.  Market rent applications can be downloaded or picked up from the co-op’s office located on the ground floor at the Co-op.  Return completed market rent applications to the co-op’s office along with income verification and proof of citizenship for everyone in the household.

Applications for rent-geared-to-income subsidy assistance can be downloaded from http://www.region.peel.on.ca/housing/social/ or picked up at Peel Access To Housing (PATH).  Return completed PATH applications to PATH.

To become a member at Tannery Gate Tower Co-op, applications are processed by the completion of credit and landlord checks, applicant meeting with staff to view apartment, and a recommendation that is approved by the Board of Directors.
